Al- Haramain Train Station: An Architectural Masterpiece

The Two Holy Mosques (Al- Haramain) Express Train project linking Madinah with Makkah and Jeddah Governorate, is considered as one of the most prominent giant projects being carried out by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to serve their pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors to ensure maximum comfort, tranquility, security and safety for the delegations of pilgrims upon their arrival at the holy lands, until leaving for their countries where the implementation of most parts of the project have been completed and it is expected that other parts will be completed during the rest of this year.

The Two Holy Mosques Train Station, which is described as an architectural masterpiece, is also considered as a new gate to serve the pilgrims after the official penning of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz International Airport in the mid of Ramadan last year, where the project which is running according to the latest global systems, aims to link the two holy cities to each other with Jeddah city along with King Abdullah Economic City in Rabigh, while a final operational tests are currently being conducted before its launch officially.

Minister of Transport, Engineer Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Megbil expressed pride of the great care and attention being accorded by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to provide maximum comfort for the pilgrims through this vital and leading project of The Two Holy Mosques Express Train Station among a series of giant projects being carried out across the Kingdom’s regions in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
