Townsend: Deputy Crown Prince Visit to Bolster Saudi-U.S Relations

The former US president's national security affairs and the fight against terrorism Fran Townsend, welcomed the visit of the Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense to the United States of America.
Townsend said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency that the visit of the Deputy Crown Prince clearly confirms Saudi Arabia interest in a long-term strategic relationship that exists with the United States of America.
She noted that the meetings of Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, yesterday, with businessmen, as well as with the Speaker of the House, its members and members of the Congress, confirm the status enjoyed by the Kingdom Saudi Arabia and strong its position, in the United States, the keenness of U.S. officials to interact to Saudi Arabia's vision in 2030 and ensuing massive development programs, such as the National transformation 2020 program, which will expand the level of the quality of mutual relations, between the two countries.
The advisor praised the announcement of the Deputy Crown Prince, upon arrival to the United States, of his keen interest in supporting Saudi nationals, studying in the United States.
